Hon. Dr. Justice Srem-Sai , Deputy Attorney-General & Minister For Justice

Hon. Dr. Justice Srem-Sai is a distinguished Ghanaian legal academic, attorney, and thought leader with over a decade of experience spanning legal education, practice, and public policy advocacy. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana School of Law, where he teaches Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, and International Human Rights Law. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Praetorium Solicitors, a private law firm in Accra.

Justice holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Leeds, where his research focused on disability work rights under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. He also earned an LL.M. from Harvard Law School with a concentration in Corporate Law, Governance, and Finance, and another LL.M. from Cardiff University specializing in Insurance and International Human Rights Law. His earlier academic foundation includes law degrees from the University of Ghana and the Ghana School of Law.

Throughout his career, he has served in numerous influential roles, including Legal & Regulatory Affairs Manager at SABMiller Ghana, Counsel to the Constitution Review Commission of Ghana, and Executive Fellow at the Institute of Law and Public Affairs.

His extensive publication record includes peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and presentations at prestigious international conferences, particularly in the areas of constitutional reform, disability rights, and socio-economic justice.Justice Srem-Sai is a respected voice in legal scholarship and a mentor to emerging legal minds in Ghana and beyond. His work bridges academia, courtroom advocacy, and public service, anchored by a commitment to justice, equity, and legal reform.
