Mrs. Fati Bodua Seidu Chief Director, Office of the Attorney – General and Ministry of Justice

Mrs. Fati Bodua Seidu, Chief Director

Mrs. Fati Bodua Seidu is an accomplished public servant with over two decades of senior management experience in the public and private sectors, performance management, organizational development, and human resource planning. Prior to her appointment as Chief Director at the Office of The Attorney General and Ministry of Justice, she served as the Director responsible for the Management Services Division at the Public Services Commission (PSC) of Ghana.

In her previous role at the PSC, Mrs. Seidu provided strategic direction on public service, coordinated national HR audits, and led reforms in service delivery, policy design, and institutional restructuring across numerous public service organizations. Her leadership contributed significantly to the professionalization and efficiency of Ghana’s public administration.

Mrs. Seidu has also held key leadership roles in education, tourism, social protection and agriculture-focused initiatives, including her work at SNV Ghana as Country Coordinator for the Procurement Governance for Home-Grown School Feeding Program, where she strengthened linkages between smallholder farmers and structured markets.

Her appointment brings to the Attorney General & Ministry of Justice a wealth of experience in institutional transformation, strategic policy leadership, and results-driven governance. She is committed to advancing the Ministry’s mandate of promoting justice in Ghana.

Mrs. Seidu is a Member of the Chartered Instituted of Human

Resource Practitioners, a Licensed Member of the Institute of Chartered Administrators and Management Consultants- Ghana and a Member of the Ghana Association of Chartered Mediators and Arbitrators. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Management from University of Economics, Varna in Bulgaria and a Master’s degree in International Development from the Graduate Institute of Public and International Affairs (GISPIA), University of Pittsburgh, PA USA. The Chief Director carries out his/her duties and responsibilities with the support of the following Directorates and Units established under the Ministry:

    • Policy Planning, Budget, Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Research, Statistics and Information Management
    • Finance
    • Administration
    • Human Resource Management and Development

The Directorates are headed by Directors or Officers of analogous grades in the Civil Service. The following Units also exist and are in staffing position to the Chief Director:

    • Project Coordination Unit
    • Internal Audit Unit
    • Public Relations Unit
    • Procurement Unit
    • Client Service Unit
    • Right To Information Unit
